I pulled one of our trucks loaded grossed at 79K with my CTD. It pulled it better than I thought since I did this once with my 406sbc Chevy K5 blazer but that truck was only grossing about 40K. I went 1 mile with my Dodge CTD but the blazer had to pull the truck 5 miles, it was rough. Both times the trucks had just fallen short of making it to our shop with a problem and I had to bring them in the rest of the way.

How much weight have you pulled? With your pickup of course, no large trucks.

I pulled a loaded semi with a ’76 CJ-7 304 v8 TH-400. He had shut down the engine and lost his starter. Still had over 100 psi of air so he could release his maxi brakes and I pulled him and he dumped the clutch to get it started.
