Can anybody give me some links to people who make truck toolboxes that have built in transfer tanks to hold extra diesel fuel. I have seen them but all my searching is leaving me very little info and a headache to boot.

I am looking for a unit that is combo. It is a toolbox on top and a fuel tank on the bottom. I want to get some extra fuel onboard with tool storage and take up the least amount of bedspace as possible.

The only model I can find online is the one by Weatherguard.

My truck is a 1998.5 Dodge 2500 quadcab 4x4 longbed with the 24v Cummins. Thanks

You can also look at slim line transfer tanks that will fit under a standard box. It is a bit more work but should be cheaper in the end.

    Toolbox/transfer fuel tank

Sorry it took so long to post this. I looked a long time for a transfer tank with a toolbox on top.
"Transfer Flow" is a brand name unit with a website and many install dealers in the U.S. and Canada. They are in Northern CA I think and you can deal with them direct or through a dealer.
I bought a used unit from a friend getting out of the transport business. Tank is 90 gal. I mounted a 12v pump on the truck frame under the tank and ran a fuel line, with a shutoff valve, into the filler neck for the main tank. I also ran a vent line into the filler neck. Wired a toggle switch under the dash. If the valve is open, I can flip the toggle anytime the key is on and transfer fuel.
Mine is RDS Aluminum in Florida. They have a website, http://www.rdsaluminum.com I would not want to haul without my tank. I buy 100 gal. per stop, usually Flyin J, total capacity, with the main, is 125 gal. I run 1400 to 1800 miles between fuel stops.

I found a WeatherGuard tank setup I like. It is $700 at Tractor Supply. It looks pretty damn nice. Maybe someday when I get rich I will get one. I need to get the bed Line-X first.

i would love the extra range of a transfer tank, but can not afford the extra weight. it would be nice, but the legal numbers i am already WAY over. another 200 or 300 lbs would just make it worse for me.
