Ya know, the dumb warning lights that go on for no apparent reason:doah: Damn I hate thoes! I drove my 98 S10 for about 140,000 miles with the check engine soon light on rotfl It came on when I had about 60K on the lil pick-up and I sold it to my nephew with about 206K miles on it and that stupid light was still on..Truck ran great! SOOooo on my wy to work today my diesel starts to glow the little engine icon on my dash :doah: WTF is that on for!! Truck is running great, never skiped a beat! Oil life is still around 20% Temps are fine, oil pressure is good...WTF! Well to 'protect' my investment I suppose I better get it in so they can tell me what code popped and bla bla bla....forkin idiot lights! All they do is cost you money..... Modern truck ecm's are tapped into so many things that it could be any thing on your truck... I got a check engine light on my dodge and it was telling me that my brake light switch on my brake pedal was going out and it was spiking every now and then... But of course I was able to read my own codes since on Dodges you just turn the key 3 times and they read on the odometer...
Ya, guess what they said... Two codes were stored, a Turbo code and an Overdrive code...WTF is that suppose to mean....so they updated the software and called it fixed :doah: Whatever.....
