It's 1 block away. It was killing me to drive the dodge since I would just start it, drive a block, shut it down... Then I finally got a new work truck I could take home... Much nicer. No wear and tear on my truck. During the day I drive 40-50 miles in the work truck.

From my house to the shop is 4.5 miles. If I am driving at work can be around 500 miles or so a day...

It's 30 miles one way. Don't normally drive much for work but occasionally I'll have to drive somewhere.

    too many miles

My drive is about 35 miles one way. Takes too much time and I have to go to a not so pleasant neighborhood to earn a buck.

I don't drive, I walk, they tell me it's healthy.

So I walk the 40' or so from my bedroom to office each day. Not sure if I'm any more healthy, but my truck is parked further away than the office, and it's too much work to walk all they way over there to drive all the way to the office 15' away...
