I have run Cummins for the last 11 years. 06 put 138 k, 98 12 put on 331k and the 04.5 600 put on 105k. Just sold the 04.5 with my slide in camper. I have been a member of the TDR(Turbo Diesel Registry) since the begining. We call everybody else duracrap's and powerchoke's. Well times change, like are waistlines. I only had a few minor issues with the previous trucks. They were all q cabs. I need a new truck. I got the guy's powerchoke f-350 in exchange of my 04.5. Needles to say its sold already. I took the family out yesterday to drive a megacab and a gmc crewcab. We all enjoy the ram looks but really were impressed with the GMC's cushioned seats. My 04.5 had leather, and they are seats that are made to look like seats but they are foam filled crap. Not sprung like how they use to make seats. I drive alot and need something comfortable. I have a newborn due anyday now. With a 6 and 13 year old I will have 2 carseats on the backseat. We really need a crewcab. I wish I could put a gmc seat interior in a new megacab. But only if Dodge built the cummins and megacab with an 8ft bed. I take care of golf courses and athletic fields. I pull a 24ft gooseneck with fertilizer and equipment. Mostly everyday during my season which runs from March till nov. I need to get something new and are considering Chevy and GMC Crew cabs Duramax.

Is thier any main differences between chevy and gmc's?

I know the new 2007's Chevy and Gmc's look different, but beyond that i'm clueless.

Please help me. Thanks in advance

The GMC's and Chevys are the same basically. The GM product is going to deliver a better ride and the crewcab combined with the long bed would be ideal. The Mega Cab is a better truck IMHO, it's more of a truck.

    I'd get a megacab.

Id go with the GM. Much more comfortable if you ask me. I come from a dominant Dodge Cummins family, and use to drive a Cummins myself. The Duramax runs just as good (I think better) as the Cummins. Whole family would rather ride in my truck than the dodge due to the lack of comfort in the Dodge.

I would go GM over Dodge GM's Allison is a beast and can take far more abuse than anything Dodge has got also I'm seeing more Duramax's owners now all of them happy.
