The Commander is a nice unit, but the mounting bracket is a little flimsy.
The install is very straight forward with great directions.

Now... Does it ever turn OFF? Or does it always remain on and is it draining my battery? Perhaps I missed something?

It's installed in conjunction with an Edge EZ and GREEN airfilter. Waiting on my Magnaflow today. The first startup with the EZ left my check engine light on. It went out after a 10 minute drive and a second startup. When I get the Magnaflow in, should I disconnect the batteries again to clear the computer and let it re-learn?

    Thanks,
    -Frank

You most likely just have the power ran to the wrong fuse. I would check that and make sure that you have it on a key on fuse. We have done alot of them along with the van Aaken Commanders and they all work great and shut off when the truck is off.

When I bought mine, the instructions said to put it on a certain fuse, but that fuse is hot all the time. I think it called for 11 or 14? I switched it to one or the other, now its on with the key.

Yup, it said #14... put it on the other one marked "cluster" I believe. Now it's keyed. Thanks!
