just wondering if the comb of just those two together would be worth it or some other mod? cause the nozzles look like a good buget mod!:stir:

Keep in mind with nozzles though that you should get them pop tested and flow tested so that they are closely matched. A Smarty and a set of nozzles or injectors would be a very good combo. Just keep an eye on EGT's. A stock clutch or stock auto tranny probably won't think it is a great combo but it should work well.

Just get a set of injectors that suits the box well. 40-100hp injectors should be a pretty decent combo. I am not sure a Smarty can supply enough fuel for the bigger sticks. A box that taps the VP pump wire would probably be better suited to supporting injectors over 100hp.

the injestors and box are a good combo but the stock fuel system is not up to par for those kind of mods, they demand a lot of fuel. if you do match the two plan on upgrading the fuel system because pumps aint cheap.

We use the Jammer tips and install them on bodies at our shop and pop test them before we ever send them out to the customer at no additional charge. Then when the customer gets the injectors installed he sends his back to us as the core. If you would be interested in this let me know.

You are going to have one very upset Auto with that set up. The Smarty is so strong on the bottom end it will be causing a few issues. Also, like posted, do't get too crazy with injectors unles you plan to do alot more upgrades. I would recommend 275RV injectors with that smarty and whaen you are ready for a turbo get a turbo and a box like the TST PowerMax3.

However, you are going to need a valve body or shif improver kit at the bare minimum to keep that trans together for any length of time.

With my Smarty & towing 8K I can only run stage 3 which is just a little over stock. If I run Catcher programs (4+) I will slip the clutch pretty good if I am trying to pull hard threw 2nd & 3rd gear.

My only b*tch about the Smarty is that is doesn't have alot of topend power added. Above about 2300rpm you are not getting alot from it. The Smarty rocks from idle to about 2200RPM though. It spools the turbo real quick & makes passing on the highway an easy task at least on the higher levels.

The Smarty is designed to really boost the bottom end, which is why it is such an awesome stacker. Smarty of bottom end and TST for md range and top end and you got one he!! of a powerful truck, at any rpm!waytogo

I have not installed the boost elbow yet. I have an adjustable elbow but I have no boost gauge so I am reluctant to install it till I can adjust it to the right range. I have been told I can not overboost with just the Smarty but I am a little leary. I am going to swap boost elbows with a buddy of mine who has an elbow from an EZ since he has a boost gauge on his truck & can use my adjustable.

If I am defueling without my boost elbow installed then I will be even happier with the Smarty when I install the elbow.

My stock torque converter started to slip after just adding rv275 injectors with a edge comp running in ez mode. I see a TC/VB upgrade in your future...
