I want to swap my sylverado k3500 krew cab dual rear wheel setup for a single rear wheel setup.

I need to change the box , remove front spacer , buy a set off oem aluminum wheel and tire . As for the rear axle do i have to change it or could it be modify to accept the single wheel setup.

I think that the rear is the same...you will just have some extra long wheel studs. but to be safe I would measure your rear axle WMS (wheel mounting surface) to WMS and find a SRW truck and do the same to be sure.

The rear axle on a dually is larger than one on a single rear wheel setup.
but i dont know if it's the axle or spindle or rotor setup that make it larger.
