Im I the only guy havin problems with my valve stems? I have a 2500 and 3500 dually, I had both fronts on the dually go bad, and it has the steel wheels with covers. In the last week I have had to replace all the stems on the 2500, alaum wheeles. Just wondered if there is a problem or if maybe someone just doesnt like me. At first I had thought that maybe the fronts on the dually had been cut by the hub cap but now with the 2500 doin the same It's really got me thinkin there may be a problem. both trucks or 06's.
I have a '03 2500 and I have had both my front valve stems blow out about one month apart. I have aftermarket wheels that where put on about one year ago. So I thought it had somthing to do with the wheels.
I have a 06 3500 SRW. When I bought my truck in Feb 06 within a month I was having trouble keeping my tire pressures stable. I mentioned it to my dealership when in and they sent me to a local tire shop and replaced all, including my spare under warranty. The tire shop told me they had seen tons of 06 trucks over a few months being sent in by the dealer for the same thing. So, you might want to consider approaching your dealership to get them replaced. The tire shop also told me they were not the right stem to put in combo with the E rated tires and the weight of our trucks, called them a generic passenger type of valve stem.
