Greetings All, I just recently discovered a problem with my '05 Silverado trailer plug. The issue seems to be on the truck side, I traced the issue all the way back to the fuse box. Here's the problem, every light works but the right side brake light. The right turn signal works but no brake light, this is puzzling to me, and I can't figure out where the issue lies. My thought is that there is a wire disconnected from the brake light switch to the fuse box. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks Alot. Forzy18
i had the same issue. check both the fuse box under the hood and the fuse box by the drivers side door. i had blown 3 fuses imp:
Fuses I checked the driver's side fuse box and the fuse is good. That seems to be where the issue lies, there is no power going to the fuse. I put a test light on the fuse box and depress the brake but no power, there is power when I put the turn signal on, but not when the brake is on. Thanks for your help.
