After watching this site grow for the past month or so, i decided it was time for my first post.
    I DD/tow with my 86 3/4 sub. It is set up with a 6.2na,th400.np208- 10b/14bsf
It is slower than grandma unloaded....loaded with family & trail rig or 26' camper, it is slower than pouring 90wt in the winter ;)
But its mine, paid for & though I hate to say it it is one of the most reliable rigs I have ever owned. I dont worry about across state trips(remember how big Tx is :) ) or even out of state trips.

In all its glory high above Red River NM.

WOW 500k  Thats kick butt. I thought I was doin' good just rollin' over at 200k although my 90 Sub is a gas rig with factory installed 350. I sure wish it had a Diesel. I guess with all the bad rep the 6.2 has you sure proved that WRONG. waytogo

:stir: I must say that it has had a new long block in the past 80k...but i trust what the last owner said about its history.
He had dumped some extreme money into getting this rig back into shape after a long life of traveling to Amarillo/Dallas/Houston & back once a week.
    After a frame/spring swap, a new tranny/t-case, winch/bumper & some paint & body work..it was parked for about 6 months.
The fellers grandson needed a temp rig for collage duty, so it was again put to service. It only took the kid a week or two to thrash the origional 6.2 rotfl
So, the guy took his rig back and invested in a new full 6.2 longblock & had chevy install it...(have you priced one of these? ....i think now you can only get the 6.5 new) So he parked it again....
Short time later the winch/bumper combo was stolen...
Some reason...the guy cant drive anymore, wife likes a car so some dealer boogered him out of it for nothin'....Miles/age/diesel=no dough as trade in

It sat for at least a year at the dealer before i even spoke with them. The asking price had dropped $2500 in that time..(they knew it was nice) I talked them down another $1500 after speaking to the previous owner & getting the full story. He was mad about getting 'bent-over' on the deal & stated he thought he would keep the rig forever.

    Im happy :D
