ATF fluid in manual trans ?

    new to site, (Thanks coloradok5), just received amsoil shipment, ford and amsiol both say run ATF fluid in manual trans and transfercase. Never done that before, all info appreciated ya na why? 95 f350 4x4 5sp 160k

    Thats just what is required. I had a Ford Ranger that used ATF in the 5 speed. Looks like that is the Spec for the 5 speed in the larger trucks too. I just checked.
