So I just stumbled on this forum searching for wheel and tire sizes for my new to me truck. I bought my 01 extra cab Cummins Dually a few months ago. I have gone through it a little bit with a lot more to go in order to bring it up to my standard.

One huge problem I have to resolve is the used 40' gooseneck triple axle enclosed car hauler I just bought is really low. With my truck being lifted all the weight of the trailer and load is on the rear tires of the trailer. The trailer also drags its A$$ everywhere. I need to lower my truck and get smaller tires. I also need to cut off the axles and weld in blocks since I will be taking this trailer to the desert and beach a lot. The suspension is torsion bar or else I would just flip the axles.

I hope I can get help with this and many more projects. I will sure help everybody here as I can as well.

Welcome to the Site... I am not a lot of help with your trailer but would be happy to answer any question on that cummins motor.

Best advise I can give your is have your lift pump pressure tested/upgraded, it could save you a costly repair on the injection pump. Do not do the in-tank upgrade the dealer will try to recommend! Lots of information available regarding this common issue on this forum.

    Good luck!
