I have a problem with my brake controller, worked for a while now I get nothing on the DIC when I hook up my trailer and I have taken my truck to the dealer and they say nothing wrong with the controller , changed the 40amp fuse still nothing, changed the plug on the back still nothing.
Built a head light tester and I get trailer connected message, press brake and get graduated graphic, plug my truck in to trailer I get nothing, two buddies plug their trucks in to my trailer and they get Trailer Connected one truck is a 2014 Ford with an ITBC the other a ford with an aftermarket controller, checked Ohms on the trailer ground and brake wire and get 1.0 Ohms which should be good, go figure. Any ideas anyone.

Man, tracking down elec. problems like this is tough, maybe your ITBC is picking up on ground problems that an aftermarket brake controller wouldn't.
Maybe try starting your tow rig, THEN plugging the trailer in. Apparently in some cases, this will help.
