Because the best towing config is a long bed dually with manual trans... and I ordered a short bed single wheel for around town as it will be my DD as well, I just went ahead and went all the way and got the 48RE. :doah:
After I take delivery I will start a trans pool and everyone can guess how long it will last, maybe I can award a prize to the person who guesses the closest. waytogo

Cutting it close to get it in time for BB but hope it comes in before. By the way, clearance lights on a 3500 are optional for 06, my wife and I both like them so we got them. waytogo

I like the clearance lights too. I would like to get the smoked ones and put them on my truck, then eveyone would think I have a 1 ton, especially with fold out towing mirrors. :pimp:

So the truck is completely loaded? Info PLEASE!!!!!! What all did you get? How'd that floor shifter work out? Did you go with the Sport? Leather? What color of both in/exterior?

    INFO!!!!! :D

Went with the Sport, which comes with elec t-case shifter (for 06) which I wasn't happy with but haven't found anyone that has ever had problems with one, I could have got the manual t-case shift but not in the Sport, I dislike chrome more than the elec shift so that won out.
It will be black with dark grey cloth inter, after I take delivery it will get all black Katzkin leather, more info --> http://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120763&highli

For 06 the Sport is a package by itself.

Everything looks great except for the 4.10 gears. Are you sure you want 4.10's? THat is generally a big no no unless you plan on going with bigger tires or pull lots of weight 24/7. Mileage will suffer and so will power with the lower gears. I'd get on the phone and get the 3.73 option chosen instead if you can. :)
