I am going to say the 7.3 in the better engine because i have not had any major problems with mine

Drive a 96 f-350 auto with 180000 miles and love it nothing ever went wrong with it
i would have to say a dodge or a powerstroke just because i dont like the look of the new chevys or gmc but i do like the allison and the dmax in...
i think a psd or the dmax because a ctd has alot of low end torque where the psd and the dmax has more top end than the ctd
1 ton hauler i haul with a 96 and it is paid for so you have to do with what you got
