Quick question on my '01 F250 with the 7.3L engine. I have the Edge With Juice 5 stage programmer with monitor. The thing that I don't like is the way my tranny shifts when its on stage 4 or 5 when it's set in defuel mode. Now I been looking up on it and it says Edge recomends that you run the additude and the eveloution stacked so that you can reprogram your tranny shift points. Sounds like it's worth a shot but I have also heard that if you stack chips it makes it run hot. Anyone here run them stacked and if so what do you think about me stacking mine? Thanks
If you run stacked chips it will make it run hot. The extra power will kill your tranny if it is still in stock form. I had an 01 7.3 and liked the way it ran with the TIS 6 POS chip. Contact DJ's perfomance thay are great with fords.
