Who out there is running a body lift on their truck? I have considered a 3" body lift for my chevy since the cost of a suspension lift is so expensive. I know that the way to go is with a suspension lift, but I can't spend $1600 for one right now. I am wanting more clearence for the 285s I have on the truck right now so I can return the t-bars back closer to stock. So, what are the opinions on them?

Even if you have to save for a year get the suspention lift body lifts suck big time the leveling kits are usually around 300 bucks for a decent brand body lifts decent are about 100 bucks take the time and save up the money you'll be happy you did

Never mind. It seems that no one makes a body lift for a 2001-2002 Diesel 2500HD. Oh well. Who makes a good priced 4 inch lift? Not really wanting 6 inches.

the kit would be the same for a gas truck... the difference is the intercooler piping... you will have to get creative w/ the intercooler mounting, so that everything stays the same "height" as the engine... less BL the better... there is someone on CK5 that sells 1" aluminum pucks for a BL, but you would still have to get longer bolts... and w/ only 1" you could fudge the adjustments on the front bumper, and i'm sure the rear would look ok...

I'm running 6" ProComp under my 91 Bronco FS. Real happy with it. Bought it from 4 Wheel Parts Warehouse 4-5 years back.
