I got a shock today. While inspecting my newly installed 988 HD front springs I noticed that there is a stamp on my front steel factory wheels "capacity 2600 pounds". GAWR on door is 5200 pounds. I took for granted that DC would place a wheel capacity that matched an "E" rated tire. I recon I is way wrong.

Isn't that capacity per wheel though? 4 wheels = 10,400# total capacity.

My total capacity is 12,200 pounds with 6 wheels. One of my concerns is with the rollover and curvature of the road is overloading one inside or one outside rear tire. I gross 7100 pounds on the rear when hauling 5er. 1/2 of 7100 = 3550. Just routine driving could loadup one inner wheel with 3500 pounds.
