Hello, I have a 93 CTD and i would like to put a CB radio on it but im not sure how to set it all up. I believe I want a 29 WX NW ST Mobile CB with dual 102" whip antennas. Any suggestions and comments with installation and the equipment would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Cobra is a good radio. I would only go with 1 102" antenna you dont gain that much to install 2 it will just make your signal very 1 directional instead of omnidirectional. I prefer a K-40 or K-30 magnetic mount antenna that way you dont have to drill any holes to mount a 102" whip and they work quite well. Also a slide mount for your radio would be nice that way you can take it in the house at night. Check out copper electronics at www.copper.com
