Hi everyone, my name's Rob. I'm 20, going on 21 tomorrow and live in upstate New York. I have been doing oversize load piloting since last thanksgiving, my family runs a small company in the northeast. My 2001 Duramax is all setup for escorting but I'm only doing this as a stepping stone to branch off on my own to hotshot, which I can't wait to start. I have been doing a lot of reading online and talk to whoever I can out here about it. My truck came with what looks to be 3500 series leaf springs and airbags. I did have to replace the bent rear bumper and installed a Class V Curt hitch so now all I need is a goose-neck hitch installed. I love my truck and enjoy learning all I can about it in order to do all I can myself instead of paying some wrench monkey to wonder what he's doing. I had hoped to have the truck all paid off by the end of the summer but I ended up having to replace the injectors at $3k and a new transfer case so I have big bills now and haven't started paying the truck off yet. I plan on going to a CDL school over the winter and either go work in the gas fields in PA or go wherever in our beautiful country I can to do the best job I can. See ya around, -Rob
