The Banks stuff is not worth buying. It's far overpriced and doesn't provide the power Banks claims. Nearly everyone that is educated on diesel performance puts Banks on the very bottom of the list.

The Edge Juice with A2 controller is similar of the Banks setup you are looking at, except the Juice actually adds power and the A2 has better features.

TST PMCR is the best black box out there for a Common Rail, but it doesn't come with fancy GPS and what not.

Anything more than about 65HP over stock and you are going to short live your auto trans. Even 65HP can remove life if the truck is worked hard enough. You've got to pay to play if you really want power, with a completely new built auto trans that can handle the power.

Since you have an '06 it's got to be a low mile truck. A new torque converter and valve body would also be a great option, and not cost $5K for a pallet trans.

Don't get me wrong, you can get away with a decent power booster if you are smart with it. The weakest part of the trans is going to be your lockup converter when it goes to initially lock after you shift into 3rd. I'm saying 65HP or so should be fine for the most part, and many people have added 100+HP over stock and know when to and not to use it and make the trans last. It's all in self control.

Torque converter and vlave body and you should be good for a decent amount of power. Just don't do any boosted launches or power brakes and you'll be just fine. For fueling, I am kinda stuck on the TST. I may have a used one for sale here in the very near future. The Edge A2/juice is a really nice configuration, but spendy. However, like Bobby said, it does produce power.
BTW - we do package deals!:D

i am really happy with my edge juice / attitude moniter (non A2) which is $899 instead of $1300. and as long as you are smart w/ the power (like dont tow w/ the chip turned up and dont powerbrake the thing all the time) your trans will last you for a while.

I just finnished an install of one of the new Quadzilla commanders. Pretty cool little toy. Also, you can use it to control the Juice, TST, Banks, Quadzilla, or any other chip currently available. Pretty nice unit. I might have to get one myself. Here is the link to more info -

I also have a commander, and it's a pretty slick package. I got mine pretty early, so there were a few bugs to work out, but it's workin sweet now. It also dwarfs the attitude in size, real easy to read.

I like it, and I like the fact that it is so universal. Should be a pretty cool unit for racing and such. Even will have a Data Logging feature here soon.

Right now it is a kinda gay little plastic post that you screw to your dash. A pillar mount (a la attitude mount) is in the works, but I don't know how far out from market it is. I'll call and find ou tomarrow.
