Hey all , not sure who all has one, i am buying a 07 Dodge 3500, 6.7 diesel and 6 speed auto, gonna get a 4 car ez load kaufman trailer and a 53 ft goose. Not many out there have the 4.10, mostly the 3.73 gears, wil 3.73's do the job for a 25,000 pnd trailer Thanks Bill
for sure! the 4.10s pull great and save your tranny. if you're looking at diesels the 4.10s were very popular. 3.73s tend to be what is in the hemi powered trucks
The 3.73's will do fine. The 6 speed trucks are not available with 4.10 gears due to the terrible 6th gear ratio (0.79:1 IIRC)
Oh yes they are. I have Two brand new 6.7 3500 drw One auto one manual both have 3.73. 4.10's aren't an option on the sticks Maybe you ment manual (very confusing both being 6 spds)
Yeah, I'm sure Jason meant manual when he said 6 speed. I have 4.10's in my truck (auto) but I ordered it that way, probably not to many on the lot's with them though.
Sorry, yeah I meant manual. I still have to get used to the whole idea of a Cummins with a 6 speed auto. Its like a dream I can't believe is true!
