    How many of the haulers in here are register over 10k GVWR? I know any 1-ton dually should be but I'm told that most arn't True or not?

    I'm not registered on the truth of it I think it only matters if your hauling commerically

    You are right it is only if you are hauling comericialy, which i am. I had just been running not worrying about it but to run off some of the load boards you need #'s.

    yeah it would be much better to get legal that way you can get more jobs by being listed

    horseheads, ny,i live in the rust belt.
    i do inspections in my state. and most of the bissness trucks and stuff are under weight registred. some are not even over to the point that when the driver and a small amount of tools is in the truck thay are over weight. :doah:

    so my truck is set at a good middle ground and my trailers are at 9,995lbs. 5 under to save big money on tags every year.

    and in my state unless you are haulin comercial and or have your truck/trailer all stickered up thay dont realy mess with ya in my area at least.
