I know that lots of companys make them, bd, jacobs, pacbrake. Which one makes the most noise? Do they all come with air tanks that can sufficently power mild... to moderate ;) air horns, and fill up 40" tires?

    The Jacobs is vacum operated.

The BD is a great brake and really you need to decide how big of a tank you want to run. The PacBrake comes with a 2 (?) gllon tank. I may be wrong on the tank size, but I know it comes with one.

I have a PacBrake PXBR and it has a 1/2 gallon air tank, and a pump with a 20% duty cycle. It would operate air horns, but inflating a 40 inch tire would be asking a lot of it. You could add a larger tank I guess. You don't get a whole lot of noice like 18 wheelers, but you do hear it. I really like the sound of the air release when pulling away from a stop. Several people say they didn't know 2500 dodge's had air brakes.

I would think you would need a pretty big tank to fill up 40" tires as well as a 100% duty compressor.
