Getting the trailer here tommarow and i was wondering what type of fender improvments everyone has done? After talking to the trailer people they dont think that the fenders will support more than 400-500 pounds, i have no idea what the wieght would be to drive over them but pretty sure its not enough. I have seen people put wood down inside the fenders (like a 6x8) to support most of the load and have heard of quick release set ups too, so give me the scoop. I have access to large pieces of lumber and i can also make something out of rectangular tubing for extra support. Any good ideas? TIA. Paul

I just remove one fender and drive on the tires on that side, then cut back to let the passenger fender sit between the front and rear tires.

I welded some square tube to fallow the fender line about 1/2 inch taller than
the fenders. When my rock crawler drives over the fender 90% of the weight is on the tube.
