my dads 99 ram is in need of another set of front shocks. the heavy cummins wore out the last ones in four months.supposedly they were the correct shocks for the truck, but i bet they were for a gasser.whats a good brand/model# for a stock 99' 2wd cummins ram 3/4ton?

If the truck wore out shocks in 4 months than I would suggest dumping the cheap shocks and going back to OEM shocks. I have 113K on my original shocks.

Bilstein is always a popular choice for any tow rig. I'm happy with mine...

thanks for the reply's fellas. i just ordered a set of HD bilsteins from a mail order store. im sure the reason his went out so fast is causs they were a one size fits all shock. rated for the lightest GVW. my dads cummins requires the highest GVW rating. thanks again waytogo
