Got my Quadzilla Commander installed today (stand alone gauges) that I got from Diesel Nut. It was about time for a tranny fluid change anyway so I just had ATS install it and slap one of their alum. deep tranny pans that already come with the temp port at the same time, real nice to know what's going on now. waytogo
So the Commander is guages only? I thought about getting a bling bling pan, but can't seem to get my trans temps up high enough to make it worth it, towing too. They do look cool though, and with a stock converter I bet it really does help. The plug sure is nice, I had to tap into a test port in the case of my trans for temp. Some say that is a no-no and Edge says it's fine.
It was one of those things, needed to take the pan off anyway and tap into the stock cover... I smelled upgrade. imp: Plus I need to keep the stock tranny in one piece for as long as I can, if this helps it last a few months longer, then it was worth it. The Commander is a stand alone gauge, but it can also control several moduals and you can set EGT limits etc. and record data with it, pretty cool, and I don't have to worry about the Dealer saying anything because it's just gauges, I just return the ECM to the stock program (Smarty) and I'm good.
I think your display is brighter than my Attitude monitor from my Juice, it's the same color but I think yours looks a little better. That nav system looks nice with the blue quad.
You can adjust the brightness of the backlight, I actually turned it down a bit after I took the night pic because it was to bright.
