ok folks, mine went out with 37k miles on it.

dealer quoted me 1038.33 for JUST the pump. this is BS since the entire system cost was 1300 and some change....

i was half way to buying a different setup for ab out that price and gaining an air compressor....

well i got online and found a Cummins part number.

at the cummins store here in the area the cost was 88.**. needless to say with a savings of 700+ dollars even WITH BUYING A SPARE!!!

    here is the part number.

    39655925

i called a couple places up and found the price varries. i dont remember the name of the dealer i got it from, but if you are in the san diego area here is the phone number. the store is in El Cajon
    1-619-593-3093

hope this can save someone money, and i know why they get the name "stealerships"

Man, that is INSANE! If that doesn't warrant a call to DC or Jacobs, or both, I don't know what does! That is the dealer just flat out stealing from customers. DC really should know about that.

im in the process of getting numbers for DC reps to look into the problem....

as for cummins, call around to other places in the area and see what the price is... then go after the place you got yours from. i doubt you have any pull with it though, as they will just say "should have price checked more"
