Sounds just like Burt's trailer. Very nice trailer size.

    Sounds nice.

However, I could have sworn I responded to a similar post about a 14K trailer.

Oh, make sense. Apparently I said something worthwhile for a change. Let me make a note of that :D

    Sweet, sounds familiar! waytogo

The one thing I'd change is that I'd add more D-rings if I were to do it again. I have 4, one at each corner and they're mounted on the sides at the front and back. I'd want like 2 more on each side a couple feet from each end for more options to tie the truck down, and also 2 on the front and 2 on the back. So, 12 D-rings total. Overkill I'm sure, but it would have been easier than adding them later.

Also, they put my spare mount back a bit farther than I wanted it, it's borderline on interfering with the truck when it's loaded. I asked them to put it as far forward on the deck as possible but I guess it got forgotten in the shuffle. Since you got the 18 foot one it probably would interfere on your trailer if it's put the same distance from the front as it is on mine.

One last thing, Kaufman puts a 6 pin industrial connection on the trailers, but will put the 7 pin one on that new trucks have for no charge if you ask for it.
