Hi- I have been a loyal Ford man for years but recently purchased my first diesel. It is a '97 F350 dually 7.3 turbo crew cab. Man, I love this truck! I have been reading all the post about pepping up this puppy but don't know where to start. I tow a 31' toyhauler that weights about 8500 lbs. loaded with my Harley. The truck is stock w/auto trans. I can run at 70mph o.k. but need a little more power for passing and climbing hills. Will a programmer or chip alone help me? what do you seasoned vet's suggest?
You should give the guys a call at phase 3 performance in texas city. They sure helped me out if you want ill give you their number if your close enough.
