Hey all, I just picked up a 83 suburban 3/4 ton 4x4. 6.2 engine with a 700r4. My question is, why would you unhook the high idle solenoid? At least I believe thats what it is lol. Looking at the inj pump standing at the front of the truck, there is a solenoid above the throttle cable that is unhooked. Also just to the left in the manifold there looks like a temp sensor that is also unhooked. The truck runs good, does have a hard time staying running when first started if you let it idle.
