Keep forgetting that I picked up a rear bumper from a Z-71 (paintable) a few months back to replace my rear chrome bumper, my Suburban is white, I wonder if Krylon would be close or if I should have the bumper painted by a body shop?

Krylon will not look "right". It should be sanded, primed, base, and clear applied to make it look factory IMO.

    Just my 2 cents,

Yeah, you would probably be surprised how many visually distinct "whites" there are, and blacks too for that matter. Best to get a quart of the right stuff to really match and have it sprayed. Or better yet, spraying is not that hard at all, especially on a small part, so you could borrow a gun and have at it yourself. The first time I ever used a "gun" I painted a complete vehicle and it turned out pretty darn good for someone with no experience or training. If it's a base/clear, that makes it even easier, but more trouble and cost.
