I have a 4" mbrp exaust and was thinking of removeing my Cat does any one have any idea on how much louder it will be with out the Cat ? I am not going to remove the muffler I just put it on .I hade it stright piped for a year.
not sure about your system, but with my short Aero Turbine, its LOUD!!! lol. but only when im on it. i like it, but it could be more of a growl... once i stack it, ill change the muffler if i feel its needed.
That was the first thing I did when I bought my truck, was remove the cat. I can't say it was any louder because I also replaced the muffler at the same time. I can say it has a deeper tone, and breaths a whole better since. DD.
