Where to probe

    I will be getting my guages in the next few days and I was going to install my pyro pre turbo like most of you people suggest. Does it matter which half of the manifold you install it in? I see pics with most of them install in the rear half.:confused:

    That is where you want it. Don't put it in the middle, there is webbing there. The rear spot pictured seems to get the best reading of multiple cylinders.

    Yes that is where I have seen most of them mounted but isn't the #1 cyl the hottest running out of them all? If so why not mount it in the front portion or is my way of thinking all screwed up?:confused:

    I've always heard the #6 is the hottest with the #1 a close second and that is why most put it in the rear half. I doubt it would make enough of a differance to matter either way.
