The 94& 95 manual were a 175hp, and 96-98 autos were 180.
You can make 350hp fairly easily, and still be reliable. A good turbo, some injectors(like DDP stage 3 or 4), a gov spring, and a few tweaks here...
All newer diesels should have compound turbos, makes it even easier to get big power!
The 100 plate is the second most aggressive. The #0 is the most fuel you can do, and still have a plate.
