Id agree with them go for a diesel for sure. Again auto vs stick is personal prefferance. I have one of each like them both.
Lot of times Id have problems getin in and out of my drive way with out 4X4. This time of year espically.
Those things last for quite a while. No need to worry but replacing during a run.
