I think that the 450s are still 8 lug, but with 19.5" wheels. Could be wrong...

Steve, the 550 would have run probably more like $50k out the door, and I'd still have to have the frame shortened and have a pickup box put on it.

Yeah, it does look cool. Congrats.

Ford offering the 450 and 550 as "consumer grade" working trucks just makes me want to b***h slap GM for not offering anything to compete. Of course their standard response line is "TopKick", yeah right. Ugly as crap, too stinking big, and gets the DOT looking too close at you.

I'm spending my money and not someone else's.:D

I'd also have to pay alot higher weight fees to the DMV, to the tune of probably $500+ a year...

Anyways, the F350 dually will do everything I want it to anyways, so it's cool.waytogo

Did GM drop the C3500HD? That was supose to be equal to the F450.

I STILL don't have mine. It's not even on the rail car yet.

Even if they still make it, try getting it in anything other than white with a bench seat and vinyl floors, I don't think they make them with any comfort options. Also doesn't come in 4wd.

Hmmm, not sure. I seem to recall having read something about it but had forgotten since I haven't seen or heard anything more. And if Shaggy is right, that still does not compete on anything other than capacity.
